Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
- Drug Inspector: Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized university.
- Aeronautical Officer: Degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized university with 2 years of experience in aircraft design/development or airworthiness.
- Legal Officer / Company Prosecutor: Degree in Law from a recognized university. Experience in legal practice/prosecution as specified per post.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor / Consultants: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned specialty and minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Joint Director (Crops Development): Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics/Agronomy/Entomology/Pathology/Genetics/Soil Science OR Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
Age Limit (UR Candidates)
- Joint Director / Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor / Consultants: Maximum 40 Years
- Aeronautical Officer / Legal Officer / Company Prosecutor / Assistant Engineer (Civil) / Medical Officer (Siddha/Ayurveda): Maximum 35 Years

Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per rules (+3 years for OBC, +5 years for SC/ST, +10 years for PwBD, and standard relaxations for Ex-Servicemen and Central Government Servants).

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on the qualifications and experience declared in the online application.
- Recruitment Test (RT) / Combined Recruitment Test (CRT): UPSC may conduct a written test to screen candidates if a large number of applications are received.
- Personality Test (Interview): Shortlisted/qualified candidates will be called for interview (100 marks).
- Qualifying Marks in Interview: UR/EWS - 50, OBC - 45, SC/ST/PwBD - 40.
