Salary / Pay Scale
Salaries are paid according to the pay band and grade pay as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- General Posts: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Principal (Govt Intermediate College): Post Graduate Degree + B.Ed. + 3 years continuous teaching experience.
- BSA / ADIOS / Deputy Secretary: Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university.
- Senior Lecturer (DIET): Post Graduate degree with B.Ed.
- Labour Enforcement Officer: Bachelor's degree in Economics/Sociology/Commerce + Post Graduate Diploma or degree in Law/Labour Relations/Labour Welfare/Social Work.
- Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO - Transport): Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
- Food Safety Officer: Bachelor's degree in Food/Dairy/Oil/Agricultural/Veterinary Technology or Biochemistry/Microbiology or PG in Chemistry or Medicine.
- Child Development Project Officer (CDPO): Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology/Psychology/Home Science/Social Work.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (Objective Type)
- Paper-I (General Studies I): 150 questions, 200 marks (9:30 AM to 11:30 AM). Merit list for Mains shortlisting is based on this paper.
- Paper-II (General Studies II / CSAT): 100 questions, 200 marks (2:30 PM to 4:30 PM). This is a qualifying paper only. Candidates must score a minimum of 33% marks.
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd (0.33) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Stage 2: Main Written Exam (Descriptive Type)
Consists of 8 compulsory descriptive papers of 3 hours each (Total 1500 marks):
- General Hindi (150 marks)
- Essay (150 marks)
- General Studies I to VI (6 papers of 200 marks each)
Stage 3: Viva-Voce (Personality Test)
- Total Marks: 100. Evaluates the candidate's character, suitability, intelligence, and general awareness.
