Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from recognized Indian University
- 5% relaxation (50% marks) for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwBD candidates
- 5% relaxation for Ph.D. holders who completed Master's before September 1991
- NET (UGC/CSIR) or equivalent test (SLET/SET) qualification required
- Ph.D. holders exempted from NET/SLET/SET if: Ph.D. in regular mode, evaluated by 2+ external examiners, included open viva-voce, supported by 2+ published research papers and 2+ conference presentations
- SET-2026 qualified candidates also eligible (application window will reopen if result declared late)
