Eligibility Criteria – SSSB Punjab Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026
1) Educational Qualification

Additional Mandatory Requirement:
As per Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, Rule 17: Candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects OR any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language as specified by Punjab Government.
Cut-off Date for Qualification:
Candidates must possess the required educational/technical qualifications before the last date for submission of online application forms (i.e., 06.04.2026).

3) Nationality & Domicile
Candidates must be residents/domiciled in Punjab State to avail reservation benefits.
Valid Domicile/Residence Certificate of Punjab State (not older than 5 years at the time of counselling) is mandatory for all categories (male/female).
