Scientist-E

• Essential: B.E./B.Tech. (60%+) in ECE/CSE/IT or Master's in CS/Maths/Statistics (60%+).
• Desirable: M.E./M.Tech./Ph.D. in relevant field.
• Experience: 12 years in R&D with strong foundation in cryptography & cyber security.

Scientist-F

• Essential: Same as Scientist-E.
• Desirable: Same as Scientist-E.
• Experience: 16 years in R&D with strong foundation in cryptography & cyber security.

Common Desirable Skills (both posts)

• Lead R&D projects, product development in cyber security.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, vulnerability analysis.
• Programming in C/C++/Python, MATLAB, etc.
• Machine Learning/Deep Learning for cyber security.
• Publications in reputed journals/conferences.

• Scientist-E (Direct): 45 years
• Scientist-F (Direct): 50 years

• Scientist-E: Pay Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900)
• Scientist-F: Pay Level-13A (Rs. 1,31,100 – 2,16,600) Plus usual allowances as per SETS norms.
