Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Patiala has released the official recruitment notification CRA 314/26 for the year 2026. PSPCL invites eligible and skilled candidates to apply online for a total of 116 vacancies across various posts including Fireman, Electrician Grade-1, Technician Grade-1 (Mechanical and Instrumentation), Certified Welder, Auxiliary Plant Attendant (Mechanical), Bulldozer Operator, Laboratory Assistant, Welder Grade-1, and Loco Shunter Operator. The 116 posts are distributed across 10 technical and skilled trade positions. Pay scales range from Level-3 to Level-6 of the 7th CPC pay matrix with minimum pay between Rs. 21,700/- and Rs. 35,400/-. Category wise reservation applies in line with Punjab government rules including SC, BC, EWS, XSM, PWD, and Women reservations for Punjab domicile candidates. All candidates must be proficient in Punjabi at least at Matriculation level or equivalent. The specific educational and technical qualifications vary per post as below, with all degrees/diplomas/certificates required by the last date of application (01 July 2026):

• Certified Welder: Matric + ITI Welding + IBR 1950 Welding Certificate
• Auxiliary Plant Attendant (Mechanical): 3/4-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Mechanical Engineering or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering with specified minimum marks
• Bulldozer Operator: Matric + Heavy Duty Driving Licence
• Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc in Chemistry (60% marks) or M.Sc Chemistry (50% marks)
• Electrician Grade-1: 3/4-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Matric + ITI Electrical + 2 years experience as Electrician Grade-2 in PSPCL/PSTCL
• Technician Grade-1 Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical or Matric + ITI Mechanical + 2 years relevant experience in PSPCL/PSTCL
• Technician Grade-1 Instrumentation: Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or Matric + ITI in related trade + 2 years experience
• Welder Grade-1: Matric + ITI Welding + IBR 1950 welding certification
• Loco Shunter Operator: Matric + Heavy Duty Driving Licence
• Fireman: 1-year Certificate/Diploma in Fire Fighting with 50% marks + Matric with Punjabi + physical standards required

• Start Date of Online Registration & Fee Deposit: 11 June 2026
• Last Date for Online Registration & Fee Deposit: 01 July 2026
• Last Date for Fee Deposit: 06 July 2026
• Admit Card Upload (without test center): At least 7 days before exam
• Final Admit Card Upload (with test center): At least 3 days before exam
