Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Technician (Electronics Mechanic) - Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Electronics Mechanic (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Technician (Fitter) - Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Fitter (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Technician (Instrument Mechanic) - Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Technician (Surveyor) - Class 10 + Trade Certificate in Surveyor (NCVT/SCVT)
• Junior Office Assistant - 10+2 + Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application (min. 6 months)
• Junior Engineer (Electrical) - Class 10 + 3 Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering + Valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate (Parts 1 to 4)

Apprentices of OIL who have successfully completed training receive additional age relaxation and preference.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification. The CBT will have 100 questions divided into:

• General English, GK/ Awareness & Questions on OIL - 20 marks
• Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability - 20 marks
• Domain/Technical Knowledge - 60 marks

The duration of the test is 2 hours and 40 minutes (including 40 minutes compensatory time for PwBD). The minimum qualifying marks are 40 out of 100. There is no negative marking.
