- Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- Cleared NET by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET.
- Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
- Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked top 500 (alternative).
- Specific qualifications for individual posts:
- Assistant Professor (School of Education): As per UGC Regulations 2018
- Assistant Professor (Pedagogical Sciences): Education
- Assistant Professor (School of Management And Business Studies): Education
- Assistant Professor (School of Management And Business Studies): MBA or PGDBA/PGDMA from IIMs or XLRI (Preferable Specialization in Operations Management / Business Analytics)
- Assistant Professor (School Of Chemistry): As per UGC Regulations 2018
- Assistant Professor (Chemical Sciences): Chemistry
- Assistant Professor (School Of Social Sciences): History or Sociology
- Assistant Professor (School Of Letters): English
- Assistant Professor (School Of Chemical Sciences): Chemistry Desirable Specialisation-Theoretical Chemistry
