Eligibility Criteria

• Sr. Scientist-cum-Head: Essential: Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist, Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs 5400/6000/7000/8000. Having made contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact. Desirable: 1. Ph.D. in Agriculture Extension, Agronomy, Agriculture Plant Breeding, Livestock Production, Horticulture, Home Sciences (Community Sciences), Agriculture Engineering, Fisheries, Agro-forestry, Soil Science and Plant Protection. 2. Experience in handling extension and monitoring of extension programmes.
• Subject Matter Specialist: Master's Degree in Agricultural Entomalogy or Plant Pathology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

Age Limit

• Subject Matter Specialist: Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
• Sr. Scientist-cum-Head: Maximum Age Limit: 47 years

Salary/ Stipend

• Rs. 56100 to Rs. 131400/- Per Month
