- Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at Bachelor's/Master's degree in the concerned/allied/relevant branch of Engineering and Technology. Requires 10 years of teaching/research experience (with 5 years at Assistant Professor level) and a consolidated API score of 400 points.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant branch. Requires 8 years of teaching/research experience at the Assistant Professor level and a consolidated API score of 300 points.
- Assistant Professor: Master's degree with first class or equivalent in B.E/M.E in the relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.
