- Full Time Medical Officer on temporary tenure basis: MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India with one-year post internship experience in Surgery/General Medicine in a reputed/dedicated hospital/Nursing Home. AND (a) Diploma in Industrial Health or Equivalent post Graduate certificate of training in Industrial Health recognised by the Central or State Government, OR (b) Having work experience for a period not less than three years in policy, execution and advice and safety & health of workers employed in mines, ports and docks, factories and buildings and other construction work.

GAIL Full Time Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 - Salary / Stipend
- Consolidated Monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,04,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Four Thousand Only) will be paid per month.
- Annual increment of Rs. 3100/- per month will be given on extension of period (if any) after completion of one year of engagement.
- OPD expenses of Rs.1,000/- per month. This amount shall be paid on monthly basis along with consolidated remuneration.
- Family floater insurance coverage of Rs.5 Lakhs for indoor treatment in respect of self, spouse and two immediate dependents i.e. children and/or parents.
- Personal Accident Insurance Policy for an amount of Rs.12 Lakhs respectively to cover any eventuality including disability and medical treatment therefor.
- To & fro local conveyance charges @ Rs.14/- per K.M. shall be paid from local residence.
- Medical Officer will be entitled for 12 CL and 12 paid leave in a calendar year. (For pro-rata calculation, 1 CL and 1 paid leave for a month may be taken). He/She will also be entitled to compensatory off for attending extra duty. Paid leave can be accumulated/ carried forward but not Casual Leave.
- Engagement as Medical Officer is full time on temporary tenure basis and will have initial period of engagement for not more than one year. Based on the performance, period of engagement can be extended further on yearly basis. The maximum period of engagement will be 03 years. Increment will be given on extension of services after completion of one year of engagement.
