Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, EEE, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): Bachelor's degree in B.Sc. / BBA / B.Com from a recognised university
- Diploma Apprentice (Engineering): Diploma in Electrical / EEE or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution
Other Key Conditions
- Must be a permanent resident / domicile of Chhattisgarh
- Candidates with 1 year or more of work experience are NOT eligible
- Candidates currently undergoing or who have completed apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 at any other establishment are NOT eligible
- Graduates must have completed graduation not more than 5 years prior to commencement of training
- NATS portal registration is mandatory before applying
Selection Process
Selection is purely merit-based – no written test or interview:
- Merit list prepared from marks scored in the qualifying degree/diploma examination
- Higher percentage = better chances of selection
- Selected candidates must submit a declaration confirming no prior training under the Apprentices Act
NATS Registration (Mandatory)
All applicants must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal before submitting their CSPDCL application:
- Visit www.nats.education.gov.in
- Click on Enroll and select Apprentice
- Fill in personal, educational, and bank details
- Generate your unique NATS Registration Number
- Download and print the NATS Registration Form
- Mention the number on both the application form AND the outer envelope
Applications without a valid NATS registration number will be rejected.
How to Apply (Offline)
- Complete NATS Registration Online at www.nats.education.gov.in
- Download and fill the application form from the official advertisement
- Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents
- Prepare the envelope (36.5 × 25.5 cm sealed envelope) with the following written on it:
- NATS Registration Number
- Category (GEN/OBC/SC/ST)
- Year of pass-out
- Post applied for
- Branch of graduation/diploma
- Percentage achieved
- Send or submit the sealed envelope to the address below on or before 24 July 2026
