• Professor (Agriculture): 1-Actively engaged in teaching/research with evidence minimum 10 research publications in per reviewed/NAAS/UGC listed journals. 2-10yrs experience in Agronomy/Horticulture, out of which 8 yrs should be as assistant Professor or in equivalent position and two years as Associate at an AGP of Rs. 9000/-(Academic level 13A) 4-The Candidate should have made Contributions to teaching/research/extension education as evidenced by published work and impact. Specialization- Ph. D Degree in Agronomy/Horticulture or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.

• Associate Professor (Agriculture): 1-Master Degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized University. 2-An eminent scholar with minimum of 08 years experience of T/R/E at assistant Professor or equivalent level (excluding period spent in obtaining Ph. D degree)in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 or revised pay scale as per 6th pay commission. Desirable: - Teaching Experience at UG and PG level in the concerned discipline, and research papers published in national/international referred journals

• Assistant Professor (Agriculture): Specialization-Agricultural Entomology, Horticulture, Genetics & Plant Breeding/Seed Technology, Agronomy & Soil Science Essential Qualifications- 1-Master Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. Two years experience of Teaching/Research/Extension after master's degree in concerned discipline. 2-For the candidates having Master's degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted.

Essentially of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009(and also as per ICAR letter No. 23(46)/2010-EQR(Edn.)dated 26th December, 2011, issued by ADG(EQR) and the candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating of not less than 4.0 on the last date of submission of application. Desirable- Ph.D in relevant discipline.
