Allahabad High Court Private Secretary Grade-I Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a University established by Law in India OR equivalent + Good Knowledge of English Shorthand (100 w.p.m.) and Typewriting (40 w.p.m.) + Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operation.
• Preferential Qualification: Served in Territorial Army for minimum 2 years OR 'B' Certificate of NCC.
• Age Limit (as on 01/07/2026): 21-35 years; Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/DFF of U.P., 5 years for Sports persons of U.P., 3 years (after deduction of service) for Ex-Servicemen of U.P., 15 years for PwD of U.P., up to 45 years for U.P. Government Servants.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale: Level-10 (Rs.56,100 - 1,77,500) as per 7th Pay Commission.

• Maximum Age limit: 35 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process

• Stage-I (CBT): Part-A (General Studies - 100 MCQ, 200 marks, 90 min), Part-B (Computer Knowledge Test - 100 marks, 15 min), Part-C (Subjective Translation - 100 marks, 15 min).
• Stage-II (Shorthand Dictation Test): 200 marks (CBT).
• Stage-III (Interview): 75 marks.
• Merit on total marks of all stages. Minimum qualifying marks in Part-B & C of Stage-I and Stage-II as per rules.

• Reservation as per Allahabad High Court Rules (Vertical: SC-21%, ST-2%, OBC-27%, EWS-10%; Horizontal: Women-20%, DFF-2%, Ex-SM-5%, PwD-4%).
• Only U.P. domiciled candidates eligible for reservation benefits.
• Apply online only; no offline mode.

How to Apply

• Candidates have to apply “ONLINE” only for High Court of Judicature at Allahabad Recruitment Exam for the post of Private Secretary Grade-I by accessing the website: https://exams.nta.nic.in/allhcre/ OR www.allahabadhighcourt.in. The Applications other than online mode will not be accepted in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In case more than one application i.e. Multiple Application Forms submitted by the same candidate, then the last application form submitted by such candidate shall only be taken into account. (fee will not be refunded for multiple applications).

The candidate should keep the following ready before filling of the online ApplicationForm:

• A computer/Laptop with proper internet connectivity,
• The Date of Birth (as mentioned in Class X Board Certificate or equivalent Certificate),
• Govt. Identity Details like Aadhar Number (last 4 digits) / Passport Number/ PAN Number / Digi locker.

• Actual category viz General (UR) / EWS / OBC / SC / ST, as the case may be, to be correctly mentioned in the relevant column,
• Scanned clear coloured passport photograph (with applicant’s name and capturing date) in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 KB–200 KB with 80% face (without mask) clearly showing complete face
• from chin to head having straight eye contact with the camera with both ears visible in appropriate contrast onlight shade plain background without any kind of sunglasses/spectacles,
• Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 KB–100 KB),
• Scanned class X or equivalent Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth,
• Scanned copy of Certificate from the concerned Institution as a proof of Qualifying Examination,
• Bank account details for payment of fee,
•  A valid e-mail ID as important communications will be made in this e-mail ID,
• A valid mobile number as important information will be sent via SMS to this number.
